Zara – My Big Baby Girl
When we first heard that we could get a puppy from a friend, Heidi was very against her joining the family. She was settled with the cats and it was sad when we had to put Toggie down due to old age, her back and back legs had given up and it was extremely traumatic for us. Something that will stay with me forever. It Broke Me.
The thought of getting a new baby was far from mind but we ended up falling in love with the pics of her. We decided she was going to join our family. When she was around 3 weeks old, the Mom’s humans told me that they are having to put Zara’s mommy down due to cancer. That was super sad.
We ended up getting Zara when she was only a four week old baby. Still very small and weak and watching her grow from that tiny little girl into the big Golden Marshmallow that she is today has been nothing less than a privilege. She is our sweet little baby even though she is over 40Kgs and still growing. Not even a year old yet.
Something about the love of a Dog is incredible. They love unconditionally and cherish the time they spend with you. We, as humans, could learn a lot from Dogs. They are the most amazing friends and companions and will never leave you.
I love you Zara Snoot. Always.
Dad.
