Thoughts for May 2025
Hello everyone,
I hope this finds you all well.
May has been a particularly tough month on a personal level. We said goodbye to one of our beloved furkids, Atrius — a heartbreaking loss for our little family. And on top of that, Heidi experienced a severe cardiac event that truly shook me. Seeing someone you love go through something so frightening is an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
At this stage, we still don’t have clear answers about what’s going on with her health, and that uncertainty is tough. I’m hoping and praying it’s nothing serious. She’s my rock — it’s hard seeing her have to face a battle like this.
On the work front, things have mostly been going well. That said, a wave of proposed changes has stirred up some uncertainty. It’s that feeling of just getting things steady again, only to have more shifts come your way. I’m holding onto hope that things will settle soon and bring a bit more consistency.
Health-wise, I’m physically feeling strong, which I’m grateful for. Emotionally, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster — but I’m keeping my chin up and staying positive.
Here’s to a fresh start in June. I’m looking forward to exciting new projects and, hopefully, a calmer stretch ahead.
Take care and thank you for reading.
